Serving Delicious Pastries and Coffee for More Than 11 Years

Ursula's European PastriesĀ is located outside of Pawtuxet Village in Cranston, RI. This scenic neighborhood is a wonderful backdrop for our pastry shop. We serve an excellent cup of coffee, and if you need a little more, our espresso and cappuccino are both a perfect accompaniment to a slice of cake and a piece of pastry. Ursula's is family owned and operated. This means that while Wendy is in the back making your cake, her mother Louise will be making you at home up front with a beverage and a little slice of heaven.

We keep our cakes simple and elegant without a lot of garish design.

Ursula's European Pastries is different from other bakeries for many reasons. Everything here at Ursula's is made from scratch, that means we start by cracking eggs for just about everything. All our dough is made with the Plugra European butter. We do not use pre-made anything or mixes of any kind. That means that all of our products have a list of ingredients that we can all recognize. None of our products have that over sweet taste that many people have come to believe categorizes all cakes and pastries. No fillings or frostings are used on our cakes. We use freshly whipped cream, chocolate ganache, or French style buttercream. Almost everything is baked to order. So when you order a Kahlua buttercream cake from us that buttercream is being made from fresh eggs just for you. It's not spooned out of a large pre-made bucket. We prepare eight kinds of individual pastries everyday and roll fresh apple strudel. We make several kinds of cakes to put in our case for you to come in and have a slice. There are also whole chocolate rolls for last minute occasions.
